Our bar and restaurant, watched over by Geireke the Geierswalde mermaid, spans two floors and offers a spectacular view of Lake Geierswalde. When the sun is shining, the large glass front opens up to bring the fresh air inside, creating a seamless link between the restaurant and the lakeside terrace. And when the wind is blowing or the rain is falling, it's always warm and cosy inside!
You can wine and dine undisturbed while still being at the heart of it all in the captain's cabin, a private dining room on the upper floor of the restaurant. Outside, the first floor balcony makes an inviting spot to sit back and relax and soak up the sunshine and fresh air.
In the main bar, it's a kind of organised chaos! Our chairs don't all match and the napkins aren't even the same colour. As soon as the sun comes out, people flock to our terrace, which is protected from the wind by a gazebo and is made extra cosy with cushions, warm blankets and patio heaters. Come and see for yourself!
Watch the setting sun with a glass of wine or a cocktail in your hand, and take the weight off your feet for an hour or two ... or three! And when darkness falls, it feels all the more snug!
